Lagoon City Community Association
The LCCA is a private, not-for-profit corporation and its purpose is to promote, support and protect the interests of its members. This includes encouraging cultural and social interests while providing a clean, safe facility for events and activities such as cards, exercise, book clubs, darts and special events etc. These activities, along with the facility itself, are organized and operated by volunteers from within our membership.
Membership in the LCCA is not restricted to Lagoon City residency. We welcome anyone wishing to join us and become involved. Come out and meet new people, make new friends and stay active.

Community & Government
Ramara's Community Heartbeat
Ramara’s community and government sector includes the public, non-profit, volunteer and civic organizations that help connect residents, support families, encourage participation and strengthen local quality of life.
Public & Community Access: Government services, library resources, recreation spaces, service clubs and community organizations all play a role in supporting access to information, programs, gathering places and practical supports. Together, they help residents connect, learn, participate and find the services they need.
Youth, Service & Belonging: Sports clubs, youth activities, Legions, volunteer groups and community organizations promote active living, leadership, mentorship, service and civic pride. These groups support families, host events, honour service and create welcoming spaces where residents gather, contribute and belong.
Grassroots Connection: While government provides part of the framework, Ramara’s community strength is built through the people, groups and volunteers who bring that framework to life. Through Chamber initiatives such as The Ramara Experience, local connection is also translated into support-local activity, visitor engagement, community storytelling and shared pride in the people, places and businesses that help Ramara live, work, play and invest.
