Municipal elections have a direct impact on the communities where we live, work and do business. From roads, infrastructure and development to recreation, public safety and local services, the decisions made by Township Council help shape Ramara’s future.

The Ramara Chamber of Commerce encourages every eligible voter to learn about the candidates, understand the issues and take the time to vote in the upcoming municipal election.

Key voting dates

Voting in the Township of Ramara will take place from October 8 to October 26, 2026.

Residents can vote online or by telephone throughout the voting period, beginning at 9 a.m. on October 8 and ending at 8 p.m. on October 26.

In-person paper-ballot voting will also be available on select advance-voting dates:

  • Saturday, October 10: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ramara Administration Building

  • Thursday, October 15: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ramara Centre

  • Saturday, October 17: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ramara Centre

Please note that paper ballots will not be available on October 26. Those voting that day must vote online or by telephone.

Voters will elect Ramara’s mayor, deputy mayor, five ward councillors and school board trustees. Before voting, residents are encouraged to confirm their eligibility, make sure their voter information is correct and familiarize themselves with the available voting methods and identification requirements.

Local democracy is strongest when community members participate. Whatever your priorities for Ramara may be, voting is your opportunity to help shape the direction of our township for the next four years.
